The vineyard was planted in 1974 to Martini clone; it is dry farmed and head trained. The Pinot Meunier, which accounts for 34% of the blend, is from the Van der Kamp Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. The vineyard was planted in the early 1950s. The 2015 POE rose is 100% direct to press, as opposed to from saignee. The cold fermentation preserved the nuance and aromatics.
