Set on a hillside within sight of the medieval walled town of San Gimignano is a cluster of farm buildings that Umberto Fenzi and his wife Frederica have developed over the years into a mix of vineyards, olive groves, a restaurant and holiday homes. Dedicated to organic cultivation in all that they do they are now doubly proud to have achieved Vegan certification. This is also the home of the Adnams Selection Chianti. Winemaker, Andrea, has blended 94% Sangiovese with 3% each of Syrah and the local Ciliegiolo grapes. The result is a wine full of soft, autumnal, flavours of ripe red fruits with a classic Italian bite that makes this wine so good with food.
