Why Comprehensive Eye Exams Matter Comprehensive eye exams go beyond checking your vision. They assess eye health, prescription strength, eye coordination, pupil response, retina, optic nerve, and eye pressure while helping detect glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, diabetes-related changes, and myopia progression early. Regular exams support long-term vision and eye health.
