Silicone ring pessaries support pelvic structures, such as the uterus, bladder, or rectum, when they prolapse (drop down) or become weakened. They are also prescribed in the case of mild-to-moderate urinary incontinence. These are placed inside the vagina and gently support the involved structure to allow the displaced organ to drop back into position.
