Well, it is the highest grade of jaspers that is characterized by fine grain texture with intricate patterns and vivid colors. There are five varieties of fine jaspers discovered up until this point – Willow Creek Jasper, Bruneau Jasper, Imperial Jasper, Morrisonite Jasper, and Blue Mountain Jasper. It is interesting to know that almost all of the Imperial Jasper that is used by jewelers is mined from San Cristobal, a small town located in Mexico.
