Thumb

This stone is formed by microcrystalline quartz, which is a type of chalcedony, and if you look at desert druzy closely, you will find that the compact layer of tiny crystals is a part of the surface of a larger rock or crystal. What’s most appealing in any desert druzy specimen is its deep resemblance to snow.
