Antique Victorian brooch pin with a most unique shape designed in mottled faux tortoise shell and genuine Whitby jet. A carved out design in a Z pattern is topped with interlocking keyhole elements held in place with jet beads. A c-clas closes the piece. This was a mourning piece from over 150 years ago but so fashionable in today's time.
