If we purchase a new router, then the Netgear wireless range extender would not be able to work. Because theNetgear wireless range extender which we are using is already had been setup with the old router which we were using previously. If the Netgear wireless range extender has been already setup with the old router it would not be able to communicate with the new router. It would not be able to establish a connection with the new router, So, both the new router and the Netgear wireless range extender could communicate with each other.
