Use and Care Before first use and after use, carefully hand wash your Mauviel saute pan with hot soapy water, then rinse and dry. Cooking: All Mauviel copper cookware products are designed for use in the oven to 500 F and are broiler-safe. Never overheat an empty pan, this may lead to irreparable damage. Always cook over low to medium heat. Only add salt to your pan once the water has boiled. When cooking on gas, the flame should never go beyond the base of the pan.
