Red Wine by Chapoutier from Hermitage, France - Rhone. Les Greffieux is situated at the foot of Hermitage Hill. Its gentle slopes are comprised of glacial alluvium deposit terrace composed of shingles and clay. The vineyard is 2.7 hectares and completely biodynamically managed. Due to low yields, the annual case production is small; approximately 150 to 200 cases are produced. Les Greffieux displays steady garnet red color with aromas of black fruit and minerals. On the palate, the wine is powerful with powerful and balanced tannins flavors of dark fruit, licorice and spice.
