In Russia, researchers have bred successive generations of increasingly tame foxes. They have selected the least aggressive foxes of each generation to breed. Over time, these foxes have not only become more docile, but their physical appearance has evolved as well. They are smaller than their wild counterparts & have shorter tails. Wealthy Russians can afford to have these foxes as pets.
